Dear Co-laborers in the Ministry of Jesus Christ,

I take this opportunity to wish you a blessed and prosperous new year
in the Lord Jesus Christ. This letter is to announce the State Ministers
Conference \ Board Meeting.  The meeting will be held Monday,
February 6-8, 2012.  Rev. Michael Eaton and the members of
Bethlehem Baptist Church will serve as host Church. It is our
pleasure to return to the Chickasha District under the leadership of
Moderator Rev. Kirk Rushing. Although there are several Hotels in
area to choose from, our host has selected the Holiday Inn Express to
serve as the headquarters Hotel. Let me encourage you to make your
reservation as soon as possible.  

Please note that this year the Conference will start with an
Evangelistic session Monday night at 7. Tuesday Morning registration
will start at 8:30 and the Conference will open promptly at 9.  

The general theme for the Conference is Preaching with Clarity and
Understanding.  I believe everyone that attends this conference will
be truly blessed by the presenters that we have this year.   Out first
presenter Tuesday morning will be Pastor Willie Smith, Pastor of the
Bethlehem Baptist Church, Lawton, OK. He will lecture on
Hermeneutics.

The second half of the morning session Pastor Major Jemison, Pastor
of the St. John Baptist Church, Oklahoma City, will lecture of the
Inerrancy of the Scriptures. All of our lectures will be during the
morning session.  

After our lunch break, from 2 to 3:30 two workshops will be offered.
Growing your Sunday Church School will be facilitated by Pastor
Earl Bryant, Pastor of the Wildwood Baptist Church, Oklahoma City.

Our Media in Ministry Workshop will be presented by Logos.  I am
encouraging you to bring your laptop computer to take advantage to
the information that will be presented. Let me remind you that the
Logos representative will offer 20% off on all software during the
Conference.

Our preaching personalities for Tuesday evening will be Pastor
Steven Horn, Pastor of Sunrise Baptist Church, Ardmore,
(Devotional Message) and the sermon by Pastor Michael McDaniel,
Pastor of Northeast Baptist Church, Oklahoma City.

Pastor J.L. Franklin, Pastor of St. John Baptist Church, Lawton will
close the Conference out Wednesday at noon. As you can see this
Conference promises to be a blessing to all who attend.

Let me encourage you, Pastors, to try and bring your assistant Pastor,
Associate Ministers to the Conference. Plans are now in the making
for a weekend conference sometime this spring for the Associate
Minister. I will share more about this at the Conference.                

Lastly, please come prepared to register with $20.00 Ministers, and
$20.00 Ministers Wives.  Let’s not forget the Bereavement fund.  
Your presence, prayers, and financial support is much needed and
appreciated.
