Saved, Single, and Satisfied
1 Cor. 7:7-9
Fairview's Singles Conference 2008
Greeting Singles

I would like to thank Pastor J. A. Reed Jr. for this invitation to
come and share with you this weekend. I would like to welcome
all the singles of Fairview Baptist Church and the other area
churches  and singles who have come to this web page to be
apart of this 5th Annual Singles Conference.

Our theme for this year is “Saved, Single, and Satisfied”
(1Cor. 7:7-9). The Apostle Paul wished that all men were as he
was. In this text, Paul was “Saved, Single, and Satisfied.”  He
did not feel as if he were  half a person. God used him in his
singleness to plant churches and write two-thirds of the New
Testament.  Paul in his singleness was single mindedly devoted
to God. Unlike most singles in our day and time, Paul was not
single mindedly devoted to finding a mate. In Paul's own
opinion, singleness was a good thing.

Is your singleness a good thing to you?  Prayerfully before this
conference in over, you will be, “Saved, Single, and Satisfied.”

I have written a book that is not published yet, but I believe it
could be a blessintes from the
conference and a link to read my book online.
